The last two days we have worked at the community garden. Yesterday we harvested greens for the pantry and today we helped with tomato transplants.
On the way there, Gpa saw a sign that said, “watch out for ice.” So he told me to “watch out for ice.” I told him I would.
The transplants are being prepared for a fund-raising plant sale. I am so glad to be a part of this. I am learning so much.
I have to tell you that the seeds I have in my window look nothing like these green house beauties. So sad.
I told Gpa we were going to the green house. He took a look at it and told me it looked white. It is covered in plastic.
I think his favorite part is the coffee. But I don’t want to ask him right now and risk him asking for a cup right before bed time.
I think the fresh air and sunshine has done us both a world of good.
Hope you had a great day.
