Friday I bought a snapper fishbone. It was brought from the Gulf of Mexico that morning. When I got home, I showed the grandkids and but it in a big pot. I added water, garlic, sliced onion and some callaloo. I wish I had taken a picture of the red, green and white that filled the pot.
As that began to cook, I put together a lemon pepper cornbread pudding. This complemented the soup quite nicely.
This simple meal fed 6 people as they sat at the table and shared all what happened during their day apart.
